Trolls & Légendes 2011 After three successful editions, Trolls & Légendes is back for a fourth! The only festival to bring together all aspects of fantasy, from literature to games, music, comics and cinema, this year's edition will be even more unforgettable. This event is organized by Trolls & Légendes asbl, in collaboration with Anthêsis asbl and la Cuvée des Trolls, the beer of Fantasy. On more than 8000m², from 10am onwards, three areas will be entirely dedicated to fantasy, with Dragons as the central theme. We will have the honour to welcome, for the first time in Belgium, Robin Hobb, one of the greatest ladies of fantasy. Dragons often appear in her world famous novels, including The Rain Wild Chronicles, Assassin's Apprentice, Dragon Keeper, Dragon Haven and many, many more.
In the first area, you will discover shows (for young and old, magic, fighting simulations, dance…) , literature and comic book publishers and artists, signing sessions and a fairy market (also outside!) with many craftsmen, fantasy stalls and troll food and drinks!
In the second area, the Fantastique.Convention will bring together role-play, card and board games with a multitude of authors and publishers. Whether you are a convinced gamer or you just want to try to see what it is like, the Fantastique.Convention has something for all the visitors.
Finally, the third area will close each day with the magic of music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, with among others Corvus Corax, Medieval Baebes, Faun, Monica Richards, L’Effet Défée, Dunkelschön, Iliana, Keltia and Naheulbeuk.
And also exhibitions, meetings with artists, a costume contest, a chocolate egg chase for the little ones (on Sunday morning), screenings of fantasy shorts and anime, music animations and the awards ceremony… In short, an unforgettable atmosphere never seen before in fantasy festivals!
In this fairy world, catering is also covered for, and be sure to give Cuvée des Trolls a try, the official beer of the festival and the ideal Fantasy beer!
